City Football Group has sealed a global marketing and technology partnership which aims to improve the performance of players and coaches.
Cloud software provider SAP SE is now technology advisor to the group’s four clubs around the world, including Manchester City FC men and women, New York City FC, Melbourne City FC and Yokohama F. Marinos.
As part of its remit SAP will develop new applications aimed at improving performance levels.
Through its technology the company said its vision is to ‘reinvent the fan experience’.
Those behind the deal said it will also transform the way the ownership group operate and perform in the boardroom.
