Sachin’s father Sudarshan Gupta, who runs a private trading fourm in Sirsa’s Bhadra Bazaar said, “He told me that he is interested in cracking the UPSC examinations and wanted to drop his job to get coaching. I accepted, as Sachin was an intelligent student. He started taking group studies and coaching from Delhi and gave the examination last year also.”
“In his first attempt, in 2016, he got All India Rank 575. But he wanted to improve his rank and wanted to go to Bangalore for better coaching. We accepted and sent him to Bangalore for better studies. Today, I got a call from him, saying that he secured 3rd All India rank. You can believe how proud a father was,” Sudarshan Gupta said.
“Technically this was my second attempt, but I consider it as my first. I’m glad that I cleared it this time,” said Sachin on the phone.
Sachin said that he wants to join the Indian Administrative Services and will work to eradicate social evils. Sachin’s mother Sushma Gupta is a government teacher.
