All preparations for declaration of UP Board’s class 10 and class 12 examination results have been completed here. According to senior Board officials, the last minute tallying of records pertaining to practical and theory marks had also been completed and printing of results was set to begin.
In the view of several anti copying measures put in place this year, around 17 per cent (11.27 lakh) of total registered 66.4 lakh candidates left the exam midway.
The Board had not only increased its supply of coded answer sheets to 50 districts this year from 31 districts last year, it had also got the mammoth exercise of installation of CCTV camera network done at 8,057 examination centres in 75 districts of the state.
The state government had also roped in special task force for countering any intervention of copying mafia in Board examinations. According to UP Board officials preferring anonymity, Board secretary Neena Srivastava had proceeded to Delhi for finalising preparation of results.
The UP Board High School and Intermediate results will be declared on April 29 at 12.30pm at Board’s headquarters in Allahabad by its director Awadh Narain Sharma.
