Microsoft SMS Organizer lets you check CBSE Class 10, 12 results offline; here’s how

SMS Organizer is available on Google Play Store for Android users.

The Central Board of School Education will be announcing the results of the Class 10 and 12 board exams soon. There are multiple ways for students to check their results online, but Microsoft’s SMS Organizer app lets you to do it without the need for Internet connectivity.

The SMS Organizer is available on Google Play Store for Android users. This feature stems from Microsoft’s partnership with the CBSE since 2016 to declare results on bing. The company has now extended the partnership to SMS Organizer users.

Here’s how you can check the CBSE Class 10 and 12 results offline.

The first obvious step is to download the SMS Organizer app from Play Store. The app, sized 4.4 MB, is compatible with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean and above. You will see a notification pop-up of CBSE exam results on the app.

Tap on the notification and enter details like roll number, school code and date of birth. On the day of the result, just tap on the same notification and your score sheet will be displayed.

The score card will show marks secured in all subjects, including theory and practical, and grades too.

As the SMS Organizer app works offline, the score card will be sent via SMS to those who lack Internet connectivity.

Microsoft SMS Organizer is an India-only app, and was launched earlier this February. As the name suggests, the app organises your messages into different categories like personal, promotional, archived and blocked. SMS Organizer comes with features like ‘Smart Reminders’ for automatic reminders of flights, buses and bill payments.

‘Smart Assist’ lets users check PNR status of trains and flight status by directing them straight to the respective webpage without having to open different apps. There’s also a dark theme for SMS Organizer similar to what we’ve seen on Twitter and YouTube. You can also use it to back up your data, so it can be restored while switching to a new device later.
